TILLAMOOK COUNTY, Ore. — Tillamook County Public Works is looking into a landslide that was reported Wednesday morning on Blaine Road near milepost 9, off Highway 101. One lane of Blaine Road is open, according to Tillamook County Public Works.
A crew with the Public Works Department is on their way to investigate, Emergency Management Director Randy Thorpe said. No injuries have been reported.
The reported landslide comes following wet and breezy weather along the Oregon Coast. A total of two inches of rain fell Tuesday night in Tillamook, according to KGW meteorologist Rod Hill. The National Weather Service issued a High Wind Warning for the Oregon Coast, but that has since been canceled. Rain is expected to turn into showers on Wednesday and there's a chance of thunderstorms, Hill said.
This is a developing story and it will be updated when more information becomes available.
