LINCOLN CITY, Ore. — An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.2 struck about 10 miles northeast of Lincoln City on Tuesday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake struck at a depth of more than 27 miles, with its epicenter a mile away from Rose Lodge, Oregon.
The quake was 42 miles west of Salem, and there are reports that people felt shaking in the Salem/Keizer area.
People also reported feeling the quake in Cloverdale, about 5 miles west of Pacific City.
