3.9 earthquake off the Oregon coast

PORTLAND, Ore. — A 3.9 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Oregon at 4:28 a.m. Monday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).

The earthquake happened about 279 miles west of Bandon and 287 miles west of Coos Bay, the USGS reports. The quake had a depth of about 6 miles.

According to the USGS, there are no reports that anyone in Oregon felt the quake.
