PORTLAND, Ore. — The Portland Timbers released a new version of their 2024 secondary jerseys on Wednesday, which no longer have the DaBella logo displayed on the front.
The announcement, which was on the Timbers Twitter account, comes nearly one week after the team terminated their corporate partnership with DaBella due to sexual harassment allegations.
The Hillsboro-based home improvement contractor was the team’s first new kit sponsor since 2011. The Timbers had signed a multi-year deal with DaBella in November, allowing them to display their logo on Timbers jerseys and throughout Providence Park.
In February, a former executive accused the DaBella CEO, Donnie McMillan Jr., of unwanted advances and sexual harassment of at least three female employees. The allegations surfaced in a court filing on Feb. 23.
At the time, the Timbers said their decision to end the DaBella sponsorship was rooted in upholding the values and expectations of their supporters, partners and employees.
The re-released jersey is now available for pre-order on the Timbers website.
Fans who purchased a Nature Unites Kit or Portland Plaid Kit before Feb. 29 from PTFC Authentics are eligible to return their kit for a refund by the end of March. The team announced the refund program on Saturday, March 2.
