PORTLAND, Ore. — The Portland Timbers announced a refund program Saturday for fans who purchased jerseys with the DaBella logo.
This comes after the Timbers dropped their newest jersey sponsor after a former DaBella executive has accused its CEO of unwanted advances and sexual harassment of at least three female employees. The allegations surfaced in a court filing on Feb. 23.
Fans who purchased a new Nature Unites kit or Portland Plaid Kit before Feb. 29 from PTFC Authentics can return their kit for a refund within the next 30 days, the Timbers said on social media.
Fans can return the jerseys in person or by mail to 1844 SW Morrison Street, Portland, OR 97205. Those returning kits should have a receipt or other proof of purchase, and refunds will be made to the original form of purchase.
Refunds can be made at the team store from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, but can’t be made once gates open for the match versus D.C. United due to “staff and space constraints,” according to the Timbers.
Meanwhile, those who purchased kits from vendors other than PTFC Authentics have to wait for a solution.
“We are working with external vendors to explore our options if you purchased a kit from someone other than us,” the Timbers said.
