Oregon Ducks wide receiver Troy Franklin heading into 2024 NFL Draft

He is the third Oregon underclassman to declare early for the draft.

EUGENE, Ore. — Wide receiver and University of Oregon junior Troy Franklin announced Friday evening that he will forgo his senior season and join the 2024 NFL Draft. 

In a social media post, Franklin thanked his mother, coaches, team and fans. 

"It's all love over here," he wrote. "This season was fun asf."

According to 247sports, Franklin has been the Ducks' top receiving target all season, setting multiple school records for receptions, receiving yards, touchdowns and touchdown receptions. He is the third Oregon underclassman to declare early for the draft, following juniors running back Bucky Irving and center Jackson Powers-Johnson.

The Oregon Ducks will play against the Liberty Flames at the Fiesta Bowl on New Year's Day.
