SANDY, Ore. — A driver was taken to the hospital after a crash that temporarily closed Highway 26 Friday night.

At 6:08 p.m., Sandy police officers, along with Clackamas Fire and American Medical Response (AMR) responded to a traffic crash in the intersection of Highway 26 and 362nd Avenue.

The driver, an 18-year-old man from Bend, was taken to a hospital. He was later issued a criminal citation for reckless driving. Sandy Police said that impairment was not a factor in the crash.
