PORTLAND, Ore. — A shooting that happened on Southwest Capitol Highway in Portland earlier this month has since turned deadly, according to an update from the Portland Police Bureau.
Officers responded just before 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 13 to a report of a shooting on Southwest Capitol Highway in the middle of Hillsdale. They arrived to find a man, later identified as 35-year-old Joshua Page, injured in a vehicle in the parking lot of a business.
Paramedics arrived and took Page to the hospital. But according to updates from PPB on Monday, Page died Jan. 16. The county medical examiner confirmed that Page's death was a homicide, and he died as a result of a gunshot wound.

Police established a crime scene the morning of the shooting, blocking Southwest Capitol Highway for several hours while detectives went over the scene. They reopened the roadway around 9 a.m.
No information has yet been released about any arrests or potential suspects.
