'Lots of eggs to clean up': Accident involving delivery truck spills eggs all over Washington SR 18

Washington State Patrol didn't say exactly what happened but the side of the delivery truck had been completely ripped open, as seen in photos from the incident.

ISSAQUAH, Wash. — State Route 18 is back open between 104th Street and Tiger Mountain after an incident involving a delivery truck that spilled eggs all over the roadway.

Washington State Patrol Trooper Rick Johnson said the accident would "take a bit to clear." The roadway was closed around 4 a.m. and reopened shortly after noon.

Minor injuries were reported.

The truck was traveling west when a vehicle traveling east drove over the centerline, sideswiping the truck and ripping it open.

"Lots of eggs to clean up," Johnson tweeted.
