PORTLAND, Ore. — A person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after they were struck by a vehicle on I-5 near the Moda Center early Monday morning.
The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. on southbound I-5.
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and police said he's cooperating with the investigation.
Southbound I-5 was closed near the Moda Center for a few hours and traffic was diverted over the Fremont Bridge. At around 5:45 a.m., ODOT said the freeway had reopened.
