SCAPPOOSE, Ore. — A vehicle struck a pedestrian on Highway 30 in Scappoose Tuesday night, impacting traffic in the area.
The crash happened at the intersection of Highway 30 and Crown Zellerbach Road before 10 p.m., according to the Scappoose Fire District. Oregon State Police (OSP) identified the man on Wednesday as 66-year-old Michael Biscogni of Scappoose. OSP said the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with law enforcement.
The westbound lanes of Highway 30 were shut down for a few hours, but they are back open.
