PORTLAND, Ore. — A semi-truck crash on the Morrison Bridge blocked the eastbound off-ramp late Tuesday morning, according to a statement from Multnomah County. It remained closed until late in the afternoon.

The overturned truck blocked the eastbound off-ramp from the Morrison Bridge, which empties onto Southeast Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. County officials said that the exit was closed while crews try to clear the crash, and drivers should avoid the area by using alternate routes.

The county announced shortly after 4:30 p.m. that the exit had been reopened.

Multnomah County is in charge of maintaining most of Portland's Willamette River bridges, including the Hawthorne, Morrison, Burnside, Broadway, Sellwood and Wapato bridges.
