PORTLAND, Ore. — The east end of the Morrison Bridge closed after a semi-truck rolled over Friday morning, Multnomah County reported. It reopened Friday evening after several hours.

Access to the bridge from Southeast Grand Avenue is closed, but the ramp from Southeast Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to the bridge is still open.

The county said drivers should avoid the area and use alternate routes. A county spokesperson said crews are at the scene helping with traffic control and tow truck operators are working to move the semi.

No information was provided about whether the driver was injured in the crash.
