OREGON CITY, Ore. — All northbound lanes of Interstate 205 were temporarily blocked by a crash just north of Oregon City on Tuesday afternoon, according to information from the Oregon Department of Transportation.
The crash occurred at I-205 exit 11, about a mile north of the Abernethy Bridge. ODOT warned drivers to slow down or move over for worker safety.
Oregon State Police confirmed that the crash involved a semi-truck and was blocking the roadway. The agency had a unit on-scene and more headed that way, but said they didn't know enough about the injuries involved to estimate how long the closure would last.
By 2:45 p.m., ODOT indicated that the blockage had been cleared, however slowdowns remained through the area. Traffic was back to normal within the hour.
This is a developing story and may be updated with more details as they emerge.
