Highway 26 reopens near Mount Hood after crash

Oregon State Police said two cars were involved in the crash and Life Flight was activated.

GOVERNMENT CAMP, Ore. — Highway 26 is back open at Timberline Highway after closing in both directions because of a crash Friday afternoon.

According to Oregon State Police, two cars were involved in the crash and Life Flight was activated around 3 p.m. There were no immediate reports of deaths. 

One westbound lane remained closed shortly as of 6 p.m.
