I-5 crash: All northbound lanes open again in Wilsonville; 6 people sent to hospital

The Oregon Department of Transportation said a semi was driving south when it crossed into the northbound lanes.

PORTLAND, Ore. — All northbound lanes of Interstate 5 are open after a multi-vehicle crash that included a jack-knifed tractor and trailer closed all lanes between Southwest Wilsonville Road and Elligsen Road earlier Thursday morning.

Southbound traffic remains open.

The Oregon Department of Transportation said the truck was driving south at around 6 a.m. when it crossed into the northbound lanes. The crash started a chain reaction that caused four vehicles to crash. Six people were taken to the hospital.
