WEST LINN, Ore. — A person is dead after a crash that closed all lanes of northbound Interstate 205 in West Linn for several hours on Friday.
Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue (TVF&R) crews, along with West Linn police and AMR, responded to the crash late Friday evening. There, they found a car that had flipped upside down.
Though crews were able to remove the driver from the car, they did not survive the crash, TVF&R said.
On Monday, Oregon State Police identified the driver killed as 64-year-old Rochelle H. Davis.
For an "unknown reason," Davis drove into the gore point, struck the cable barrier and rolled as the result, Oregon State Police said.
All northbound lanes of Interstate 205 were closed one mile south of the Abernethy Bridge at milepost 8, according to the Oregon Department of Transportation.
