How to watch Portland Timbers vs. Vancouver Whitecaps in MLS playoffs

PORTLAND, Ore. — The Portland Timbers (12-11-11), the ninth seed in the Western Conference, host the Vancouver Whitecaps in the opening round of the MLS Cup Playoffs on Wednesday at Providence Park in a single-elimination match.

Though the Whitecaps (13-13-8) are the eighth seed, Portland will host because of a conflicting event at BC Place, where the Whitecaps normally play their home matches, and no other available venues in the Vancouver market, the Timbers reported.
