NCAA tournament bracketology: Projecting the field of 68

Vanderbilt, Iowa and Wisconsin suffered devastating losses and have dropped in the latest bracket. In Vanderbilt's case, the Commodores dropped out. They had a mediocre résumé as it was and simply could not afford to take a bad loss, but they did to Tennessee. Now they must wait to see if the committee is forgiving on Sunday.

Iowa got upset by Illinois and has fallen to the No. 7 line after being a candidate for a No. 1 seed just a month ago. And Wisconsin is now the last No. 8 seed after a staining loss to Nebraska. Bubble teams Michigan, Alabama, Florida, Ohio State and George Washington kept slim hopes alive with victories. Duke drops a line with a second loss this season to Notre Dame, which jumped up to the No. 6 line.
