How they got here
Oregon
First round: Win over No. 15 Portland State 78-40. Forwards Ruthy Hebard and Satou Sabally scored 22 and 21 points, respectively. Satou also had 16 rebounds and Hebard finished with 11 rebounds.
Second round: Win over No. 10 Indiana 91-68. Junior guard Sabrina Ionescu, who was the Pac-12 Player of the Year for the second straight season, recorded her 18th career triple-double. Ionescu finished with 29 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds.
Oregon is in the Sweet 16 for the third consecutive season.

South Dakota State
First round: Win over No. 11 Quinnipiac 76-65. Guard Marcy Miller led the Jackrabbits with 27 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Myah Selland added 14 points and 9 rebounds, and guard Madison Guebert finished with 11 points.
Second round: Win over No. 3 Syracuse 75-64. Trailing 57-53 on the road in the fourth quarter, South Dakota State went on a 16-2 run to seal the win over Syracuse. Guebert led the Jackrabbits with 20 points, which included six made 3-pointers.
This is the first time South Dakota State has reached the Sweet 16. The Jackrabbits are on an 18-game winning streak and are 24-1 this season when holding opponents to 70 points or less.
Elite 8 opponent
The winner will play the winner of No. 5 Arizona State vs. No. 1 Mississippi State. That game will be played at the Moda Center on Friday at 6 p.m.
The Elite 8 game will be played Sunday at the Moda Center at a time to be determined.
