Marcus Mariota is leaving Oregon as one of the most successful and well-liked quarterbacks in school history. To say goodbye, four days before he's likely drafted into the NFL and a new chapter in his life, the Oregon athletic department released a heartwarming video of his fellow student-athletes saying thanks and goodbye.
Even the mascot said his farewell.
Mariota leaves Oregon with 36 wins in three seasons, a Heisman Trophy and the player of the year by the Associated Press, the Walter Camp Football Foundation, and the Maxwell Award.
Social media is buzzing about Mariota's future NFL prospects with lots of speculation as to which team will draft him on Thursday night in Chicago and whether he will be the top quarterback, or even top player, chosen.
