EUGENE, Ore. — If EA Sports player rankings are any indication, Oregon will boast some of the top talent in the Big Ten in the Ducks’ inaugural season in the conference.

Oregon has five players ranked in the Top 100 player rankings in EA Sports College Football 2025, which is tied for second in the Big Ten with Michigan, behind only Ohio State, which has eight players ranked in the Top 100.

Here’s a look at the five Oregon players ranked in the Top 100:

Dillon Gabriel, quarterback

Gabriel has a rating of 92, which ranks 30th overall in the game, Gabriel is the fourth highest rated quarterback in the game.

Gabriel is entering his sixth season of college football and currently has the third best odds to win the Heisman Trophy during the 2024 season.

Gabriel spent his first three seasons at the University of Central Florida where he threw for over 3,500 yards in his first two years as the team's starting quarterback. In his junior year, in 2021, he suffered a left clavicle fracture and missed a significant amount of the season.

In 2022, he transferred to Oklahoma, where in two seasons with the Sooners he threw for 6,828 yards and 55 touchdowns.

Now at Oregon, Gabriel who was born in Hawaii, will adorn the famous number 8, a tribute to Oregon Heisman-winning quarterback Marcus Mariota.

Tez Johnson, wide receiver

Johnson has a rating of 91, which ranks 59th in the game, and is the sixth highest ranked wide receiver.

Johnson transferred to Oregon by way of Troy. He had a breakout season for the Ducks last year, putting up career highs in yards, receptions and touchdowns, with 1,182 yards, 86 receptions and 10 touchdowns.

He's one of the fastest players in college football and EA Sports College Football 25 acknowledged that, making him one of the fastest players in the game with 96 speed in the game.

Jabbar Muhammad, cornerback

Muhammad has a rating of 91, which ranks 65th in the game. He's the eighth highest rated cornerback.

Muhammad jumped ship from Washington after losing in the national championship game against Michigan to join Dan Lanning's secondary, which struggled at times during last season.

Muhammad was one of the best lockdown corners in college football last year and will likely be hard to throw against in real life and in EA Sports College Football 25.

Oregon is Muhammad's third destination after playing three years at Oklahoma State before transferring to Washington.

Evan Stewart, wide receiver

Stewart has a rating of 90, which ranks 85th in the game. He's the eighth highest rated wide receiver.

Stewart was named the second fastest wide receiver in EA Sports College Football, behind only his teammate, Tez Johnson.

Beginning at Texas A&M, Stewart was one of the most highly touted recruits in 2022, being listed as a five-star prospect on every major recruiting site. However, Stewart never had the groundbreaking receiving year many hoped he would with the Aggies, dealing with drama surrounding the Texas A&M program as well as injuries throughout his career. He transferred to Oregon in May.

Josh Conerly Jr., left tackle

Conerly Jr. has a rating of 90, which ranks 95th in the game and the fifth highest rated left tackle.

Conerly Jr. is the only one of these players who has played with the Ducks his entire collegiate career, a rare sight during the era of NIL and the transfer portal. Conerly Jr. made an immediate impact and began playing on the offensive line early in his freshman career.

One of Conerly Jr.'s highlights from his time as a Duck includes a receiving touchdown his freshman year, not something you see often for a guy listed at 6-foot-4 and 305 pounds.

Here’s a look at the Big Ten schools with the most players ranked in the Top 100:

  • Ohio State 8
  • Michigan 5
  • Oregon 5
  • Iowa 4
  • Penn State 3
  • Wisconsin 2
