CORVALLIS, Ore. — Oregon State University’s All-American center Raegan Beers announced Thursday that she’s leaving the program and will enter the transfer portal.

Beers is the fourth starter and seventh player overall to enter the portal after a successful season for Oregon State, which advanced to the Elite Eight in the women’s basketball NCAA Tournament.

"Thank you for all of your endless love and support these past two years," Beers said in a statement posted on social media. "I will never forget my time at OSU, and I am thankful for the opportunity I had to meet and play with incredible people."

Beers joins Beavers starters Talia von Oelhoffen, Timea Gardiner and Donovyn Hunter in the transfer portal.

Oregon State reserves Lily Hansford, Adlee Blacklock and Martha Pietsch are also entering the portal and leaving the program.

Of the seven players on the way out, Beers probably hurts the most for Beavers fans. The 6-foot-4 sophomore forward led Oregon State in scoring (17.5 points per game) and rebounding (10.3 per game) this season.

The only starter who hasn’t left Oregon State is guard A.J. Marotte.

Oregon State and Washington State are the only teams left in the Pac-12 conference after the other 10 members, including Oregon and Washington, announced that they'd be leaving the Pac-12 and joining the Big 10, Big 12 and ACC in the 2025 season.

In men's and women's basketball, the West Coast Conference added Oregon State and Washington State as affiliate members for two years, beginning next season. The Beavers and Cougars will be eligible to compete in WCC tournaments across 12 sports starting next fall.
