CORVALLIS, Ore. — Raegan Beers had a double-double with 24 points and 17 rebounds and added three blocks to lead the unbeaten Beavers to a 62-41 win against rival Oregon on Sunday in Corvallis.
Beers, a 6-foot-4 sophomore forward, is averaging 19.2 points and 11.5 rebounds this season for Oregon State (12-0, 1-0), which outscored the Ducks 47-18 in the second half to win its Pac-12 opener.
Timea Gardiner had 12 points and seven rebounds and AJ Marotte added 11 points for the Beavers. Talia von Oelhoffen had seven points and eight assists.
Oregon (9-5, 0-1) led 23-15 at halftime and led by nine, 29-20, with 7:27 left in the third quarter before Oregon State made its second-half run. The Ducks were led by Grace VanSlooten, who scored 15 points and Phillipina Kyei, who grabbed 16 rebounds.
