PORTLAND, Ore. — It’s been nearly 48 hours since Damian Lillard made the shot seen around the world, but it’s still what Blazers fans everywhere are talking about.
Lillard’s 37-foot shot to close out the Portland Trail Blazers’ first-round playoff series against Oklahoma City sent Rip City into a frenzy.
On Thursday, the Trail Blazers shared a video featuring fan reactions when Lillard's historic shot went through the net. And as expected, Blazers fans everywhere lost their minds. The one common theme: spontaneous screaming.
The Blazers have a few days off before beginning their second-round series. They'll play the winner of the Denver Nuggets/San Antonio Spurs series. The Nuggets currently lead the series 3-2. Regardless of the opponent, Game 1 will be played on Monday.
