PORTLAND, Ore. — Portland Trail Blazers guard Shaedon Sharpe will make his season debut Thursday against the San Antonio Spurs.
Sharpe has yet to play in a game this season while recovering from a posterior labral tear in his left shoulder. He missed the final 44 games of last season after having core muscle surgery. He hasn't played in a game since Jan. 11.
Trail Blazers reporter Casey Holdahl reported that Sharpe will come off the bench in his first game back. Blazers coach Chauncey Billups said Sharpe will "absolutely" play Thursday because the team is short on shooting guards, according to Holdahl.
