The Portland Trail Blazers return to Moda Center for another NBA season. Whether a hometown fan or a visitor, here's an ultimate guide to attending Blazers games in the Rose City.
Tickets How to get tickets to the games
Single-game tickets can be purchased on the Portland Trail Blazers website via Ticketmaster, through the Ticketmaster website or app, or using SeatGeek. Click here to purchase tickets.
Door times
For the regular season games at Moda Center, the doors will open 75 minutes prior to tip-off. Dr. Jack's will open three hours prior to tip-off.
Directions How to get to Moda Center
Public transit
One of the best ways to attend Blazers games is via public transit. On game days, TriMet runs extra service on MAX lines. Blue, Green and Red lines stop at Rose Quarter Transit Center, next to Moda Center and the Yellow line will take you to Interstate/Rose Quarter.
For buses, lines 4, 8, 35, 44 and 77 all stop at the Rose Quarter Transit Center. Click here to see a map of the Rose Quarter Transit Center.
Riders can pay by either tapping the green Hop reader at MAX stops or inside buses with a phone or contactless credit card for the $2.80 adult 2.5-hour pass. For all other pass options, tap with a Hop card using the app or paper ticket. (For more information about how to pay, click here.)
Fare prices:
- Adult (ages 18-64) 2.5 hour pass: $2.80
- Adult day pass: $5.60
- Honored Citizen (ages 65+, people on Medicare, people with disabilities, people who qualify based on income, and veterans and active-duty military) 2.5 hour pass: $1.40
- Honored Citizen day pass: $2.80
- Youth (ages 7-17 or students in high school or pursuing a GED) 2.5 hour pass: $1.40
- Youth day pass: $2.80
Children under age 6 ride for free.
How to drive to Blazers games
Driving to the arena? Follow these directions, provided by the Rose Quarter:
- From I-5 northbound: Take the Rose Quarter Exit, left on Broadway (2nd light), left on Vancouver Ave. (2nd light), proceed straight and enter parking garages as directed; you can also take the City Center Exit (before Marquam Bridge), proceed north on Front Street (Naito Parkway) over the Steel Bridge, left on Interstate Ave. (1st light) and enter parking garages as directed. You can also take I-405 exit to Everett St. Exit, right on Everett St., proceed over Steel Bridge, left on Interstate Ave. (1st light) and enter parking garages as directed.
- From I-5 southbound: Take Rose Quarter Exit (302A), proceed straight through two lights, enter parking garages as directed.
- From I-205 northbound: Take I-205 North to the City Center/I-84 West Exit and follow the I-84 Westbound directions.
- From I-205 southbound: Take I-205 North to the City Center/I-84 West Exit and follow the I-84 Westbound directions.
- From I-84 westbound: Follow signs to I-5 N Seattle and take Rose Quarter exit. Turn left onto NE Multnomah (2nd light). Turn right onto N. Interstate (3rd light including pedestrian crossing light.) Enter parking garages as directed.
- From Highway 26 eastbound: Take I-405 North/Seattle exit, take Everett St. Exit, exit right on Everett St., proceed straight over Steel Bridge, left on Interstate Ave. (1st light), enter parking garages as directed. or Take I-405 North exit proceed to I-5 South exit, from I-5 South take Rose Quarter Exit, proceed straight through two lights and enter parking garages as directed. You can also take I-405 South exit, proceed to I-5 North. From I-5 North, take the Rose Quarter Exit, left on Broadway (2nd light), left on Vancouver Ave. (2nd light), proceed straight and enter parking garages as directed.
Parking Where to park
There are more than 2,500 parking spaces available at the Rose Quarter. Prices vary, according to the event, but they typically range from $10 to $35:
- Garden Garage: 1,038 total spaces (24 ADA accessible spaces; 8 EV charging stations); physically attached to north end of Moda Center
- Annex Garage: 350 total spaces (9 ADA accessible spaces; 2 EV charging stations)
- West Broadway Garage: 554 total spaces (12 ADA accessible spaces; 7 EV charging stations)
- East Broadway Garage: 533 total spaces (14 ADA accessible spaces; 11 EV charging stations)
- Benton Surface Lot: 92 total spaces (3 ADA accessible spaces)
Neighborhood parking
On-street parking spaces near the Rose Quarter during Trail Blazer games is limited to two hours at night (5-10 p.m.) between October and May. This is a change for the 2024-25 season.
In June 2024, Portland City Council approved the Zone V parking permit area that covers the Eliot neighborhood near the Rose Quarter to allow more parking access for residents. Click here to see a map of the permit area.
Moda Center rules What the bag, water bottle, alcohol policies are and more
Here's a look at some of the rules and regulations for people attending events at Moda Center. This isn't a comprehensive list; to see the full list, click on the link at the bottom of this section.
Alcohol: Alcohol is served at most events at the Rose Quarter. At sporting events, alcohol can be purchased at concession stands or at several kiosks throughout the concourse. Guests are served no more than two drinks at a time. Alcohol sales end at the last period of play for basketball games.
Animals: Only trained guide dogs and service animals are allowed at the Rose Quarter. Service animals must remain on a leash or in a harness at all times.
Bags and purses: Bags larger than 14" x 14" x 6" and backpacks are not permitted with exceptions for medical and childcare needs. Bags 4" x 6" or smaller are recommended for expediated entry.
Cash-free campus: The Rose Quarter is a cash-free campus. Learn more about this here.
Outside food and beverage: All outside food or beverages are prohibited from Moda Center. Exemptions may be made for medical and child needs.
Smoking and vaping: The Rose Quarter is a smoke-free campus. All smoking and vaping is strictly prohibited on-site, including inside the Moda Center. If any guest is caught smoking inside the arena, they will be escorted off the premises and are not entitled to a refund.
Water bottles: Reusable (non-glass) water bottles are permitted. Bottles must be no larger than 32 oz and must empty upon entry.
Weapons: All weapons are not permitted on our premises, even if you have a concealed weapons permit. Exceptions will not be made for off-duty police officers, security or military personnel not in service at the Rose Quarter, or other licensed carriers.
Food and drinks What to eat and drink at Moda Center
There are over 40 places to grab food and drinks at Moda Center during Blazers games, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.
Looking to skip the lines? There's a grab-and-go drinks option in Section 317, with waters, sodas, beer and more. At the Blaze thru market, food prices can range from $9 for a hot dog to $11 for nachos. For drinks, bottled water is $8 and bottled soda is $9. Alcoholic beverages cost $12.50 for domestic beer and $13.59 for premium beer.

- Baes, section 119, a local fried chicken favorite with sandwiches, strips and fries.
- Cha Cha Cha, sections 119, 214, 332, a Portland chain of Mexican restaurants that serves burritos, nachos, bowls and quesadillas.
- Killer Burger, section 116, a Portland-area chain with specialty burgers and fries.
- Ranch Pizza, section 203, the Portland favorite featured thick crust pizza.
- Sizzle Pie, sections 113, 122, 308, has fresh pizza by the slice or whole pies.
