PORTLAND, Ore. – Dame DOLLA dropped his first album.
Portland Trail Blazer Damian Lillard, also known as rapper Dame DOLLA, announced on Twitter that his debut album, “The Letter O,” would release Thursday night.

Lillard, who wears the number 0 for the Blazers, chose that number because the letter O represents three places that shaped who he is today. He grew up in Oakland, Calif., went to college in Ogden, Utah at Weber State University, and he moved to Oregon after the Blazers selected him sixth overall in the 2012 NBA Draft.
The Blazers' public address announcer always says, “wearing the letter O,” before introducing Lillard at home games.
Dame DOLLA’s album released on iTunes, Apple Music and Spotify.
The All-Star point guard has released more than a dozen songs on his SoundCloud page. He has also shared his passion for music by popularizing the #4BarFriday hashtag and encouraging fans to use it to share their best raps every Friday on social media.
His most recent release was "Hero," which appeared on the page earlier this month.
Dame DOLLA, which is short for "Different On Levels the Lord Allows," headlined his first rap concert to celebrate his birthday last summer at Portland’s Crystal Ballroom.
The Trail Blazers open their NBA season Tuesday, Oct. 25, with a home game against the Utah Jazz.
