How you can watch the Trail Blazers NBA Summer League games

The Blazers will play at least five summer-league games in Las Vegas.

LAS VEGAS — NBA Summer League season is upon us, meaning that fans will be looking forward to seeing what the possible next generation of the Trail Blazers look like.

Blazers fans will want to tune in to see what players like rookie center Donovan Clingan and second-year forwards Keegan Murray and Rayan Rupert have in store, and to see if the Blazers can bring home a third NBA Summer League Championship

Here's how you can watch Portland's four guaranteed games during the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas and what players to watch on the opposing teams.

Saturday, July 13, vs. San Antonio Spurs

Time and TV: 6 p.m. on ESPN2

Spurs players to watch:

  • Stephon Castle, guard: No. 4 pick in the 2024 NBA draft, and national championship winner with UConn, averaged 11.1 points per game with the Huskies in his lone season and averaged 13.5 points in the NBA Summer League California Classic.
  • D.J. Horne, guard: Undrafted free agent in 2024 NBA Draft, averaged 16.9 points per game with North Carolina State and helped lead them to their first NCAA Tournament Final Four since 1983.
  • RaiQuan Gray, forward: Played three games for the Spurs during the 2023-24 NBA season, averaged 7.7 points and 2.3 rebounds.

Monday, July 15, vs. Philadelphia 76ers

Time and TV: 5:30 p.m. on NBATV

76ers players to watch:

  • Jared McCain, guard: No. 16 pick in the 2024 NBA draft, averaged 14.3 points per game shooting 41% from 3, leading Duke to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament. 
  • Ricky Council IV, guard: Averaged 16.1 points with Arkansas in 2022, averaged 5.4 points with the 76ers last year and averaged 18.7 points in the 2024 Utah Summer League.
  • Jeff Dowtin Jr., guard: Averaged 4.3 points for the 76ers last year, played for the Golden State Warriors and Toronto Raptors previously, and averaged 17 points in the Utah Summer League.

Tuesday, July 16, vs. Washington Wizards

Time and TV: 5:30 p.m. on NBATV

Wizards players to watch:

  • Alex Sarr, center: No. 2 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, played for the Perth Wildcats in Australia, dropped 26 points and 10 rebounds against G-League Ignite in September 2023.
  • Kyshawn George, guard: No. 24 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, averaged 7.6 points with the University of Miami last season, before then played in the French Pro B league for the 2022-23 season.
  • Markquis Nowell, guard: Standing at 5-foot-7, Nowell managed to average 14.1 points for the Raptors G-League affiliate, averaged 17.1 points his senior year at Kansas State.

Friday, July 19, vs. Charlotte Hornets

Time and TV: 8 p.m. on ESPN2

Hornets players to watch:

  • Brandon Miller, forward: No. 2 pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, averaged 17.3 points for the Hornets and was named to the All-Rookie First Team this past season. By the fourth game of summer-league, though, Miller may not be suiting up to play any more games in Las Vegas.
  • Tidjane Salaun, forward: No. 6 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, played two seasons in the French Pro League, and averaged nine points and four rebounds in his last season with Cholet.
  • Nick Smith Jr., guard: No. 27 pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, averaged 5.9 points with the Hornets and 20.8 points with the Greensboro Swarm last season.
