SEATTLE — The Portland Trail Blazers announced Wednesday that they will begin their 2024 preseason slate playing against the Los Angeles Clippers in Seattle on Oct. 11, before playing three other games before the start of the regular season.
This is the second time the Blazers and Clippers have played in Seattle as the two teams met back in the 2022 preseason.
L.A. and Portland will play at Climate Pledge Arena, home of the NHL's Seattle Kraken and WNBA's Seattle Storm. While not the exact arena, the location is the site where the former Seattle Supersonics played before relocating to become the Oklahoma City Thunder.
After playing in Seattle, the Blazers will travel to Sacramento to take on the Kings on Oct. 13.
Then Portland will take on German Basketball Bundesliga team, Ratiopharm Ulm at the Moda Center, on Oct. 16.
And finally rounding out the preseason, Portland will play at home against the Utah Jazz on Oct. 18.
