PORTLAND, Ore. — The Trail Blazers needed at least one win in Denver and they earned it Wednesday night with an ugly, grind-it-out 97-90 victory in Game 2.
Now the Western Conference semifinal series between the Blazers and Nuggets is headed back to Portland for Games 3 and 4. The Blazers are 3-0 in the playoffs at home, and had the third-best home record in the NBA (32-9) during the regular season.
Game 3 is Friday at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN.
"We've got to come out with intensity," Blazers guard CJ McCollum said after Game 2. "Home crowd's going to be ready. Rip City, we're gonna need y'all."
On the latest episode of the 3-on-3 Blazers podcast, we talked about the successful adjustments Portland made in Game 2 and look ahead to the next couple games in Portland.
