BEAVERTON, Ore. -- Jesuit High School inducted class of 1999 alumnus and Chicago Bulls small forward Mike Dunleavy, Jr., into the Jesuit Hall of Fame on Tuesday.
Dunleavy first attended Jesuit in his junior year, 1997-1998. He led the Crusaders to their first to a quarterfinal appearance at the state tournament. During his senior year, Jesuit won its first state championship in school history. Dunleavy was the Oregon Player of the Year.
After graduation, Dunleavy attended Duke University then entered the 2002 NBA Draft.
He now plays for the Chicago Bulls. He has not played this season because of a back injury.
Dunleavy's father is Mike Dunleavy, Sr., a former NBA player and coach of the Portland Trail Blazers.
