UPDATE: On Thursday afternoon, Portland police said Joshua Murphy was found safe in the downtown area.
PORTLAND -- Detectives are asking for help locating a missing 14-year-old boy from Portland who is considered endangered.
Joshua Murphy may appear sick or confused, detectives said. Anyone who spots him should call 911 but do not approach him or attempt to detain him.
He was last seen Monday, near the intersection of Southeast 34th Avenue and Powell Blvd.
Murphy stands about 5 foot 7 inches tall and weighs around 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark green shirt, khaki cargo shorts and black sneakers.
