BEAVERTON, Ore. – A tip helped police track down and arrest a suspect in the theft of an expensive Lego set from a Beaverton.

Investigators identified the suspect as Michael Allen Shultz, 43, of Beaverton after someone saw a TV report about the theft and alerted authorities. The tipster said the man in the surveillance video looked like Shultz.

Police followed up and found the $450 R2D2 Lego set when they went to question Shultz. He was arrested and charged with theft II.

Now police are hoping the surveillance video will help them identify the thief.

The Lego set was stolen from inside Bricks & Mini-Figs, a store located just off Southwest 117th Avenue in Beaverton.
