COOS BAY -- The 33-year-old man accused of killing his mother and her boyfriend at the home they all shared in Bandon has been extradited from Virginia to the Coos County jail.
Gabriel Morris, 33, arrived at the jail early Wednedsay morning. He was expected to appear in court Thursday afternoon and be charged with two counts of aggravated murder.
He was arrested in Dumfries, Va., two weeks after the February shooting of Robin Anstey, 62, and Robert Kennelly Jr., 48.
Morris' wife Jessica Morris has agreed to testify against him. She had earlier waived extradition and had been charged with hindering prosecution for allegedly helping her husband to flee.
Authorities say the couple and their 4-year-old daughter had left Blackfoot, Idaho, where they were mired in debt, and moved in with Morris' mother with plans to declare bankruptcy.
