Portland City Council has all of its 12 members for 2025

PORTLAND, Ore. — We now know all 12 members of the expanded Portland City Council in the city's first election using ranked-choice voting.

Jamie Dunphy for District 1 and Eric Zimmerman in District 4 are now locked in to win their races, according to The Oregonian, based on near-final results released Wednesday. The pair will join the 10 other projected winning candidates.

The new city council consists of: 

  • District 1 - East Portland: Jamie Dunphy, Candace Avalos and Loretta Smith
  • District 2 - North and Northeast Portland: Dan Ryan, Elana Pirtle-Guiney and Sameer Kanal 
  • District 3 - Southeast Portland: Tiffany Koyama Lane, Angelita Morillo and Steve Novick
  • District 4 - Downtown, South and Southwest Portland: Eric Zimmerman, Mitch Green and Olivia Clark

The city will welcome the expanded council next year, including Mayor-elect Keith Wilson, inside revamped chambers.
