Every morning seems like a constant battle to get them out of bed and ready for school. And with all of the tasks and reminders you need to run through before heading out the door, it's important to always be prepared.
So when one mom finally had enough of her daughter's tardiness and feet dragging, she had the perfect response to her daughter's request for an excuse note to give to her teacher.
In a recent Facebook post, Nicole Poppic shares the clever note she wrote. Let's just say it wasn't exactly what her daughter was looking for.
"Cara is tardy this morning as a result of a condition known as teenage-ism," wrote Poppic. "She suffered from an inability to remove herself from her bed, and also felt the need to talk back to her birth-giver."
Poppic's sarcastic and pointed note seems to be resonating with parents across the internet as her post has been shared more than 29,000 times.
After reading this epic excuse note, she's clearly making a strong case for mom of the year. There has been no word on any further flare-ups of "teenage-ism" from her daughter.
