Oregon Road Fire | Officials say fire was human caused, containment jumps to 90%

Spokane County Fire District 4 is currently working to put out this fire. That fire is over 11,000 acres with structures burned.

The State of Emergency activated Saturday allows resources to be provided to combat the fires.  Resources from around Washington will be coming to help resources already on the ground.

Currently, the fire is 10,817 acres, according to the Washington State Department of Resources. More than 380 structures have been destroyed.

The Spokane County Sheriff's Office confirmed one person died in the Oregon Road Fire. 

On Sept. 5, officials confirmed the Oregon Road Fire was human-caused.

The fire is currently 90% contained

Evacuations have been lifted
