YACOLT, Wash. — Multiple Clark County Fire units responded after a level-one evacuation warning was issued for a wildfire Friday evening. It has been lifted late Friday evening.

A level-one "Be Ready" evacuation notice is in place for the Thompson Road Fire in Yacolt, Washington. The wildfire is 10 acres and off of Northeast Thompson Road.

Clark County Fire District 13 and 10, as well as the Washington Department of Natural Resources and multiple emergency units, are at the scene, according to Clark County Fire District 13.

Clark County Fire District 13 asked for the public to "Please stay back and allow fire crews room to work."

The Clark Regional Emergency Services Agency (CRESA) said, as of now, "there is no immediate threat to the area."

"No evacuation or other measures are necessary at this point. However, you should prepare now to evacuate immediately upon request," the agency advised. It added for residents to not call 911, except in a life-threatening emergency.

CRESA later lifted the warning for residents and added that emergency vehicles will remain on scene throughout the night.
