US Marshals arrest man near Klamath Falls, suspected of sexually abusing child

According to the U.S. Marshals Office, 34-year-old Brandon Frackenpohl was arrested near Klamath Falls on Wednesday after fleeing Washington.

SPOKANE, Wash. — The U.S. Marshals Office arrested a man who allegedly raped and molested an eight-year-old child in Airway Heights earlier this summer.

According to the U.S. Marshals Office, 34-year-old Brandon Frackenpohl was arrested near Klamath Falls, Oregon, on Wednesday. The U.S. Marshals Office said Frackenpohl fled Washington shortly after the incident, which was June 30. In September, Frackenpohl was issued an arrest warrant by the Spokane County Superior Court.

Franckenpohl was arrested for one count of first-degree child rape and one count of first-degree child molestation.

Frackenpohl was eventually extradited back to Washington state and made his first appearance before a Spokane judge on Friday. The judge set his bond at $500,000, and Frackenpohl faces up to life in prison if convicted of either charge against him.
