VANCOUVER, Wash. — Police have located a 12-year-old Battle Ground girl who went missing from Vancouver Mall on Feb. 11.
Battle Ground police confirmed that Emra was found around 1 p.m. on Monday by Vancouver police. It's not yet clear where she was for the preceding week, according to a police statement.
Gianna Emra was last seen at the mall that Sunday afternoon around 12 p.m., Battle Ground police said at the time. According to Emra's sister, the girl Emra left with that day returned without her and had not said where she left Emra.
A guardian reported Emra missing Feb. 13, according to Battle Ground police, starting the investigation. Emra may have been headed to California, according to the missing person's report.
She was last reported to be wearing a black tank top, black sweatpants and a jacket with a "Playboy" logo, according to the city of Battle Ground. Emra has brown hair and brown eyes, and is 5-foot-4 and 125 pounds.
Officers were in contact with family and friends to try and locate Emra.
"Our officers have not received any information indicating that she is in immediate danger," Alisha Smith with the City of Battle Ground said at the time.
