Georgia Pacific Mill employee dead after industrial accident

Heavy machinery appeared to have played a role in the 32-year-old man's death, according to the Camas Police Department.

CAMAS, Wash. — A man is dead after a workplace accident at a Washington mill Friday evening, according to the Camas Police Department.

At around 5:04 p.m., Camas police, as well as the Camas/Washougal Fire Department, responded to the Georgia Pacific Mill. They found a 32-year-old male employee dead inside, police said. Heavy machinery appeared to have played a role in his death.

After an investigation by the Camas Police Department, it was determined that "this was an unfortunate workplace accident."
