Police: Woman left with life-threatening injuries after hit-and-run in Vancouver

PORTLAND, Ore. — Police are looking into a hit-and-run incident that left a pedestrian hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, according to the Vancouver Police Department.

On Nov. 13 at around 5:12 p.m., the Vancouver Police Department responded to a report of a hit-and-run crash near the 6700 block of East 4th Plain Boulevard. When officers arrived, they found the pedestrian, a woman with life-threatening injuries. 

Vancouver police said she was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and that the car involved did not stop, driving off from the scene.

Vancouver police is searching for a vehicle connected to a hit-and-run that left a woman critically injured.

As of Thursday, the woman is expected to survive. 

The traffic unit was on the scene investigating Wednesday. Anyone with any information regarding this crash is asked to please contact 911.
