Tualatin man dead after falling onto rocks on Columbia River shore

PRINDLE, Wash. — A man is dead after falling about 20 feet onto rocks near Prindle, Wash., according to the Skamania County Sheriff's Office. 

The Skamania County Communications Center received a report on Wednesday about a man who had fallen onto rocks on the shore of the Columbia River. 

When officers and Skamania County Emergency Medical Services responded, they found that the man, Francisco Javier Duran of Tualatin, had died of his injuries. There is no evidence of "criminal actions," said the Skamania County Sheriff's Office.
