Also on Monday, a tornado touched down at a nursery in Forest Grove, Oregon. There were no reported injuries.
“It was very short lived. I would equate it to a pen, putting a pen drop on a page, that's how fast it dropped down and then lifted back up,” said Jon Bonk, an NWS meteorologist who investigated the tornado damage.
Bonk said another indicator that it was a short-lived tornado was that a pile of bark nearby appeared undisturbed.
The NWS said the Forest Grove tornado was also rated an EF-0.
On Sunday, a minor tornado overturned semi trailers in North Portland.
