Hazardous materials team respond to unknown exposure on Intel Aloha campus Sunday; 4 people hospitalized

On Sunday morning, Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue alongside its hazardous materials team responded to reports of an unknown exposure on the Intel campus.
Intel plans to layoff approximately 1,300 employees from its campuses in Aloha and Hillsboro starting on Nov. 15.

ALOHA, Ore. — Four people were taken to the hospital with minor symptoms after an unknown exposure on an Intel campus in Aloha on Sunday, according to Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue.

On Sunday morning, Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue alongside its hazardous materials team responded to reports of an unknown exposure at the 3500 block of Southwest 198th Avenue. 

Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue says crews evaluated four people who ended up being taken to the hospital with minor respiratory issues. The source of the unknown exposure was not located.
