TILLAMOOK, Ore. — Police identified four of the six people seriously injured in a crash early Monday morning near Tillamook. At least two are teenagers or younger.
The Tillamook County Sheriff's Office said a Ford F350 was traveling east on Kilchis Forest Road around 3:20 a.m. when the truck left the road, went down an embankment and tumbled into a deep gully.
The driver, 19-year-old Jack Dierking, was taken by ambulance to Tillamook Adventist Hospital. There were two other passengers in the truck, 18-year-old Destiney Maldonado and an unidentified girl, who were both flown by helicopter to Emanuel Hospital in Portland.
Two of the three passengers inside the truck had to be extricated from the vehicle.
Three people were riding in the truck bed and ejected during the crash. Two of them, 22-year-old Marcus Pederson and an unidentified boy, were flown by helicopter to Emanuel Hospital in Portland. The third, 21-year-old Domanick Bakhus Gutierrez, was taken by ambulance to Tillamook Adventist Hospital.
