VANCOUVER, Wash. — People all over the Portland metro area were awed Wednesday by a unique cloud formation they saw in the skies.
Debbie Lindsay Molden sent us this photo of Asperitas clouds in Vancouver.
Asperitas clouds were added as a new classification by the World Meteorological Organization last year. The word asperitas is Latin for wave-like and roughness.
