The parks department announced earlier this month it would redeploy some park employees as park greeters, to help ensure visitors are keeping in line with Gov. Brown’s social distancing order.

The department has removed nets, flipped over soccer goal posts and taped off playgrounds at some parks, turned off fountains and closed some public restrooms.
