PORTLAND, Ore. — A man crashed his vehicle after being shot in Northeast Portland on Friday evening, with police searching for suspects.
The Portland Police Bureau (PPB) said the man was shot while driving on Northeast Columbia Boulevard, causing him to crash. He was transported to a hospital with injuries that are not expected to be life-threatening, along with a passenger who was not injured but was transported as a precaution after their airbag deployed.
The suspects or suspects were in another vehicle and drove off before police arrived. No arrests have been made.
Northeast Columbia Boulevard is closed in both directions between Martin Luther King Boulevard Jr. and Mallory Avenue during the investigation.
